Re: Picture Improvement

Well, I certainly do not pretend to be a master at this subject, but maybe I can help a little. First, there are more than one way to get some editing of photos done. There is costly photo editors like Photoshop, but I do not want to spend that kind of money and the learning curve is too much for me. I do not wish to take hours just to edit a photo to upload to a metal detecting forum but I want the photo to say something. There are a raft of free online editors and they can do a good job but since they are online, they can slightly longer to render than installed programs. Then there is freeware. I love free! One has to be careful when installing any freeware as many times other unwanted software can be installed without your knowledge or consent. YouTube will be your friend here and has many videos on what photo editors are out there and provide links to download and install. Then after you decide on what program or programs you want, with a quick search, there are tons of video tutorials on how to use the software. Check out the link below. It has some good info and links for download. My most favorite program in the video is 'PhotoSacpe' and contains a whole suite of software. 'Pixlr' is my favorite online editor. Nothing to install!

Re: Picture Improvement

Yes. I use several different programs, but all can be done with 'PhotoScape' or an online photo editor such as: http://www168.lunapic.com/editor/   or: http://fotoflexer.com/  or: https://pixlr.com/
There are lots more if you want to do a search for 'online photo editor' and try some of the links out. Some of the online editors are better than others. I find it difficult for any one program to do all that I want it to do. I have developed my ways of doing things but it would take me writing a book to try to explain how I do things.
